My Role: Concept-to-Finish Editor
I served as the lead editor and creative director for this A|RCHIVE commercial. My primary objective was to transform raw stock footage into a polished, high-prestige brand world.
The Narrative Editing Process
To begin, I established a specific mood through a stark black-and-white to color grade. Specifically, I used dynamic pacing and cinematic push-ins to elevate the visual energy of the piece. Consequently, the ad transitions from simple assembly to a cohesive narrative that builds brand prestige from scratch.
AI-Assisted Visual Integration
Furthermore, I utilized advanced AI masking tools within DaVinci Resolve to integrate the brand's text elements. First, I applied an AI mask to the subject to separate them from the background. Subsequently, I placed all text elements behind the subject to create a professional, layered 3D depth. Therefore, this technique demonstrates how AI can streamline complex VFX tasks in a high-end commercial workflow.
Technical Finishing and Sound Design
Finally, I developed a custom soundscape to complement the visual tone. As you can see in the final cut, the sound design is essential for creating the sophisticated atmosphere of the "ZERO-DOSE" campaign. As a result, the finished commercial meets professional standards for narrative storytelling and high-end brand placement.
