Music Video Editing and Color Grading | Poso Thes

My Role: Post-Production Specialist

I served as the lead editor and colorist for the "Poso Thes" music video by Andreas Abasaid. My primary objective was to translate the artist's specific vision into a polished final product within a focused 15-hour workflow.

The Music Video Editing Process

To begin, I synced the best takes to the rhythm of the track to ensure a dynamic flow. Specifically, I utilized AI tools to composite shots and added custom motion to enhance the energy of the performance. Consequently, the technical assembly provides a solid foundation for the artistic elements of the video. Furthermore, I meticulously handled the pacing to match the emotional arc of the song.

90s Aesthetic and Skin Retouching

First, I applied a bold 90s black-and-white grade, complete with authentic film grain, to deliver a nostalgic yet premium look. Subsequently, I performed detailed skin retouching to ensure the artist's presentation met high-end industry standards. Therefore, this project demonstrates how technical precision and artistic grading work together to define a brand's visual identity.

Final Finishing in DaVinci Resolve

Finally, I completed the entire finishing process within DaVinci Resolve Studio. As you can see in the timeline screenshots below, the complexity of the nodes and layers reflects the depth of the 15-hour editing sprint. As a result, the finished music video stands as a professional showcase of efficient, high-impact post-production.
