My Role: Collaborative Video Editor
As a freelance editor for Content With Purpose UK, I edited the featured film "Redefining Hospitality: Tourism for People and Planet." This project was created for California State University, Monterey Bay. While working within a professional 20-person team, I was responsible for delivering a polished, impactful edit. Specifically, I ensured the final cut aligned perfectly with the university's mission of sustainable travel.
Storytelling for Sustainable Hospitality
To begin, I focused on blending professional academic interviews with cinematic B-roll. This combination highlights how CSUMB is redefining tourism for a global audience. Consequently, the edit serves as a powerful piece of higher education video production. It successfully balances human stories with institutional goals. Furthermore, I ensured that the visual pacing reflected the forward-thinking nature of the "Travel Redefined" series. As a result, the narrative feels both urgent and inspiring.
Technical Finishing in Adobe Premiere Pro
Finally, I performed the entire post-production process in Adobe Premiere Pro. I prioritized seamless transitions between interview subjects and aerial campus footage. Additionally, I maintained high-fidelity audio levels and color consistency. This was necessary to achieve a "broadcast-ready" look. Therefore, this project demonstrates my ability to handle complex, university-focused branded content. It requires both technical precision and narrative sensitivity to succeed.
