My Role: Director, Video Editor, and Colorist

I served as the lead director, editor, and colorist for this project. My primary objective was to produce a 100% AI-generated animated film as a tribute to the space dog Laika in under 40 hours.

The Creative Challenge

This personal project was a creative challenge to push the boundaries of narrative AI filmmaking and rapid production pipelines. Executing a high-fidelity animation within such a tight timeframe required a meticulous approach to asset generation and final finishing.

Production Pipeline

Story & Prompting: I used Deepseek and Gemini for the narrative development and for refining complex visual prompts.
Core Image & Video Assets: Midjourney was utilized for initial image generation, while Photoshop and Nano Banana were used for upscaling and preparing image layers.
AI Video Generation: The final animated footage was generated using Seedance AI.
Post-Production: The project was edited in Premiere Pro and colored in DaVinci Resolve to achieve a cinematic, space-age aesthetic.
